Vintage Aviation Flying Helmet/Cap manufactured by Lasicas & dated 1942 – WWII Era. RAAF pilots wore flying helmets like this. Made from lether and chamois, they were designed for open cockpit or low level aircraft popular at the time, such as the de Havilland Tiger zMoth or Hawker Demon. Nancy Bird Walton used a pioneer aviator helmet made by Lasicas. The pair of goggles was with the helmet. They will be sold as a set.
