Description

Czech Glass Buttons.  Beautiful glass buttons made by artisans in the region of Bohemia, Czech Republic.   Pressed from vintage moulds and then ground, painted, and painstakingly detailed by hand.  The paint is permanent high-temperature fired enamel.  These buttons have a wonderful 3-D quality and beautiful finely carved details. They make wonderful embellishments to clothes, knits, hats, crafts, and can even be used in jewellery making!!  The old traditional Button factories in the Czech Republic are fast diminishing which makes your buttons even more valuable.  Nice!  The top button 30mm.  The centre button 38mm.  Bottom button is 28mm.  Green/Gold tones.  These buttons are hard to photograph – the top button is risen up in the centre and is one of my favourites.  The colours are forever changing as they are moved.
