Australian One Dollar Coin – First Year Minted 1984

Description

Australian One Dollar Coin – the first one minted was in 1984, which replaced the Australian paper one dollar note.  Made from Aluminium Bronze.  Weight 11.5g.  Features a Mob of Roos, (group of kangaroos), with monarch at the time Queen Elizabeth II on the other side of the coin.  (Reigned 1952 – 2022.) The coin measures 25mm diameter.  The presentation holder measures approximately 4.5cm x 5cm to fit into plastic coin sleeve page if you are a collector.

These one dollar coins were in Royal Australian Mint Rolls.  Each coin will arrive presented in a blank coin holder as shown in the second image.

Instore these coins are $10 each.  Here online you will pay a standard $15 postage.  Actual postage would be $10 in a small padded satchel within Australia.  To even this out, the coins are priced at $5 each online.
