The blue card contains the following information: Designed by Mr Stuart Devlin C.M.G, it features five kangaroos in characteristic positions and continues the Australian fauna theme of current circulating coinage. The effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was designed by Mr Arnold Machin O.B.E. R.A. This proof un-circulated One Dollar coin replaced the one dollar banknote in 1984. It is an aluminium bronze alloy. Weight 9 grams, Diameter 25mm. Made by the Royal Australian Mint, Canberra.
