Australian Collector Coin Collection – Women’s Weekly Birthday Cake Recipe Box Set

The Australian Royal Mint have partnered with Australian Women’s Weekly to celebrate the 45th anniversary of their iconic Birthday Cake Book.  Eleven cakes are featured on one dollar coins within the box along with recipe cards to make the cakes.  A two dollar coin featuring a twelfth cake is included to round out the complete set.  Eleven thousand box sets were produced.  The original release price was $175 and this collectors set has been in high demand ever since, which is reflected in the secondary market price.
