Victory Badge measures 2cm in diameter.  The Legacy badges measure 3cm length of torch, 3.5cm from top to pin base.

Victory Pacific Day or VJ Day – Victory over Japan Day is 15th August, 1945.  It signified the official end of WWII, when Japan’s acceptance of Allied Demand for unconditional surrender.  The dots and dash across the middle of the V spell out the word Victory in morse code.  This badge circa 1945.  The two legacy badges are more modern possibly 1980’s or 1990’s.  Legacy had it’s origins in WWI and was formed in 1923.  Legacy badges are purchased to support the partners and families of those who have lost their lives in conflict zones.  WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Malayan Emergency, Iraq, Afghanistan and peacekeeping operations across the globe.
