Established during WWI in August 1916 – 1920 and again from 1940 – 1946, the Australian Comforts Fund (ACF), raised funds to provide clothing, tobacco, condensed milk, cakes, newspapers and stationery to troops on the front line.  They also ran small canteens near the front line for troops. Badges measure approximately 2cm in diameter.
