Book – Frisky’s Journey in the Air

Description

This 1960’s hard cover book is by today’s standards extremely politically incorrect.  Frisky the puppy dog purchased a red balloon, he sailed along until he met a chimney sweep working on a roof.  He calls the sweep the ‘N’ word.  Frisky flies along some more, then falls down a chimney when his balloon bursts and becomes covered in soot.  He goes home very dirty and his mother calls him an ‘N’ word puppy.  Frisky protests at being called such a thing and after a bath Frisky was all clean again.  He then tells his mother of his adventure.  There are just 12 colour illustrated pages in the book from the Sunny Pandy Book series.   Book measures 19.5cm x 21cm.
