Australian Mint Uncirculated Coin Set – 1986

Description

Royal Australian Mint Uncirculated Coin set for the year 1986 – International Year of Peace.  In Australia it was also the 20th anniversary of the introduction of decimal coinage.  The one dollar coin features a dove for the occasion.  Sleeve measures 16cm x 12.5cm.  180 thousand sets were minted.  Please note that the coins all look a yellowy orange colour because the plastic has aged.  If you were to pull the coins out of the plastic they would be in shiny gold, silver & copper coloured uncirculated condition.
