German National Air Protection Member Dues

Description

The German RLB or Reichs Luftschutz Bund or National Air Protection Organisation were majority volunteers, who were tasked with instructing the public in air raid safety, then the movement of crowds during large emergencies from 1940 onwards.  This is 12 months worth of monthly dues – usually contained in an ID Book that was carried by members.  Dues measure 14.5cm x 3.5cm.  The price per month for membership was ten Reichspfennigs.
