Description
Called the gadget box, this vintage bakelite fishing tackle box was produced by Australian company Steelite. Stuart & Allwood from Sydney patented their first fishing reel in 1931. Between then and 1987 when they ceased production over one million reels had been made, along with accessories like this box. It’s in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. There are a few age related fine scratches to base which comes with age. Circa 1950’s. Measures 13.5cm in diameter x 5cm in height.
