Remued Pottery Jug – style or series number 186. Circa 1930’s, Australian Made. No damage: chips or hairline cracks. There is some crazing to glaze, which is shown in enhanced photos. Jug Measures: 10cm height x 9cm width.
Made by Premier Pottery in Preston (PPP), Melbourne, Victoria. ‘Remued’ pottery dates from the early 1930s to the mid-1950s. Remued pottery is nowadays highly collectable, ranging from small simple pots that are relatively easy to find and inexpensive, to rare decorated pieces that sell for thousands of dollars. Premier Pottery Preston also produced other lines in their earliest years, branded ‘PPP’ and ‘Pamela’.
