Wrendale designs began in 2012. Hannah studied at art school before reading Zoology at Cambridge University, followed by five years as a stock broker. She married a Lincolnshire farmer, had a baby and found herself desperate to find an outlet for her artistic roots. Being a practical sort, she turned her hand to sewing, making curtains and cushions for friends and personalised nursery paintings. Inspired by the countryside she began to paint hares and woodland animals. These were printed as greeting cards and sold to local gift shops – the rest as they say is history!
Now husband Jack runs the business, with a team of enthusiastic employees, leaving Hannah free to continue to create new designs, that are not just reproduced onto greeting cards, but bookmarks, stationery, fine bone china teaware, placemats, coasters, tins, napery & pet food bowls.
