West German Pottery Vase – Red, Black, White
In 1927 Alois Schurich established a company named Schurich & Greulich (S&G). They distributed low cost ceramic and glass items. The success of S&G allowed Alois to establish his own ceramics factory in Kleinheubach in 1954, post WWII. Schurich became one of the largest manufacturers in Germany from 1950’s to 1980’s. Designer Heinz Siey is responsible for many of the forms they produced. They continue to this day making plant pots (as opposed to art pottery).
Vase measures 15cm high. No damage (chips or cracks), apart from age related wear.
