100% Linen.  On 26th September, 1983, off the coast of Rhode Island, USA, the yacht Australia II  crossed the finish line to win the America’s Cup in the best of seven races.  It was the first time that New York hadn’t won in 132 years.  The race was televised in the early hours of 27th September in Australia, just before dawn.  Then Prime Minister Bob Hawke was interviewed in a dawn celebration n, where he declared a public holiday and was famous for quipping, “Any boss who sacks a worker for not turning up today is a bum.”
