Spanish ‘Pirate’ Money Coin

Copper Cobs from the reign of King Philippe IV, 1621-1665AD.  It’s a lucky dip.  Caked in dirt, the detail will be revealed once you clean the coin, with Distilled Water and patience.  (We’ll send you some water in a jar along with cleaning instructions.)  Your coin may be stamped with monograms, symbols, Roman numerals and dates from when the coin was re-tariffed under late rulers.  Found at the site of a late Medieval Harbour in Spain where pirates were known to have gathered to plunder Spanish Galleons for their riches.  Hold history in your hands.
