Jack’s Day was first organised in 1918 by the King George V fund to raise funds for Naval servicemen, merchant sailors & their families, following WWI.  The tradition continued during WWII.  This charity pin is dated 1941 and maker marked Angus & Coote, (Sydney).  Badge measures 2cm in diameter.  The pin is just under 4cm in length.
