Greswick Farm Honey
100% Pure Farm Honey. It’s our local! Produced just 15 minutes over the Hunter River from Morpeth in a hamlet called Seaham. Here farmer and Greswick Black Angus breeder Janelle Spearpoint harvests honey as a growing sideline to the cattle. The flavour of this honey changes, depending on the flora that the bees have been collecting from. It always falls into the mild/medium flavour bracket, making it a delicious all rounder for the table and to use in cooking.
William Brooks commenced honey production on the family farm at Greswick establishing his apiary amongst orchard trees in the early 1900’s. Fifth generation family members now continue this tradition with nectar sourced from high quality grazing pastures and abundant native flora along the Williams River. This honey is a natural product obtained directly from the comb using hand extraction. It has not been heat treated, and would fall into a category that many health food stores would describe as raw honey.
