‘Glimpses of the East’ Bowl

Description

Made by Royal Winton with Grimwades, England stamp on the base, this 18cm diameter bowl dates to the 1925.  It has a pearly lustre finish and exquisite hand painted images of a middle eastern market scene.  It’s got crazing to the base – common with an object of this age, but it in no way detracts from the overall beauty of the bowl.
