Description

Each campaign badge measures 2cm diameter.  On the back the history of the campaign is outlined.

‘The ANZAC troops who stormed the Turkish shore at Ari Bumu (now ANZAC Cove), Gallipoli on 25th April 1915, were the finest troops ever assembled by the Australian Imperial Force (AIF) and the New Zealand Expeditionary Force (NZEF).  The adversity they faced and courage they displayed during their ill fated campaign became the foundations of the proud national identities of the two new countries.  Extraordinary soldiers like Simpson with his donkey assisted his wounded colleagues at Gallipoli at high risk to his own life.  Our diggers set a standard that we can all aspire to: The ANZAC Spirit.’
