Button Badge Replica Set – 1917

In the Great War of 1914 – 1918 fundraising buttonbadges were widely used to raise funds in support of Australia’s war effort.  These simpleand affordable buttons were used by communities and organisations to raise funds for the war effort or to support diggers returining from the front.  This first ever replica set of 1917 button badges is based on actual badges of the time and reflects the diversity of designs and causes.  Each 32mm badge is pressed in much the same fashion as were the badges of 1917.  Beautifully presented in a fold out format with all the history of the badges included.
