Australian Wiggles Two Coin Set 2021

Description

Released in 2021 by the Royal Australian Mint.  There have been 50,000 sets minted, which sounds like a lot, until you think about how many Wiggles fans there are out there.   Two thirty cent coins that are legal tender (not that you’d want to spend them). The coin diameters are 28.52mm.  They have an AU30cent denomination, for 30 years of Wiggly entertainment.  Juke Box measures 15.5cm H x 9.5cm W x 5cm D.

The Wiggles have been entertaining children with their delightful songs, bright coloured skivvies, wonderful dance moves and Wiggly friends: Captain Feathersword, Dorothy Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus and Shirley Shawn the Unicorn.  The Wiggles were formed in 1991 by Anthony Field, Jeff Fatt, Murray Cook and Greg Page, creating a wonderful combination of musical talent and early childhood education.  In 2012, Emma Watkins, Lachlan Gillespie and Simon Pryce, together with Anthony Field, took up the reins and continue to perform to sold out crowds both within Australia and Internationally.
