The Country Women’s Association of Australia – fondly known as the CWA, was established in NSW in 1922.  Other states soon followed.  It reached its peak of popularity in the decades after WWII.  Today they are famous (amongst other important work), for their scones with homemade strawberry jam and real whipped cream at the Royal shows country wide.  Badge measures 2cm diameter.
